Undertaking in Lieu of Bond for Custom Clearance | Measure to facilitate trade during LockDown Period

CBIC vide Circular Number 26/2020 dated 29th May, 2020 has clarified following broadly

• The Board has decided to further extend the facility of accepting undertaking in lieu of bond till 15^th June, 2020
• The Date of Submission of Bond In lieu of which the undertaking is being accepted is extended till 30^th June, 2020. 
• The Conditions Underlined in Circular No. 17/2020 dated 13^th April, 2020 stand as they are.
